Mike teamed up with Dr. Shanda Blackmon to create nearly two dozen video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) illustrations showcasing lung lobectomy. Drawing inspiration from photographs, video and Dr. Blackmon’s sketches, the Mike crafted the illustrations in a sketch-and-color style using Adobe Photoshop.
