Mike created 26 surgical illustrations for Dr. David Baskin’s chapter, “Combined Hybrid Microscopic and Endoscopic Transsphenoidal Surgery: Anatomy, Instrumentation, and Technique,” in Transsphenoidal Surgery. The artwork was based on live surgical observation and video reference, and rendered using 3ds Max and Adobe Photoshop.
